The association voted to get a used Chassis and build a new "Tanker 2". After much scurrying around, and a few phone calls, the department was given a Ford Chassis from Webber Oil Company. We are very grateful to the Webber company for this donation. This story will have many parts. This is just the first part of the saga.

Chief Holmes, and Asst, Chief Leyendecker went to Bangor to pick up the chassis. Here are a few photos of the Chassis.

Well As of July the truck has been prepped, and finished by the guys. Paint was done by our chief and head  paint guru. Great job by all that helped. The truck will soon be going to Island Falls, Maine to be outfitted with tank, pump, lights and all the goodies. This work will be performed by K&T Fire Supply.  More to come!

Work has progressed at K&T in Island Falls Maine. The guys up there have been working at getting the pump installed, tank is now  on  and the truck looks like it will be in our Station soon.
